Horror
(Liana Matasik Karini)
Last night as usual if my hubby was at home and after all the kids was sleeping, we would go to coffee shop to have cup of tea (teh tarik not English tea!) or supper. It’s not romantic at all (I think) as we are just talking any topics from my hubby’s day at work, my day at home, the kids, movies, songs, football (it’s one way conversation most of the time), even gossiping, etc. Oh yes, my dad is at home so he can call me immediately if one of the kid wakes up (in case you’re wondering…).
Anyway, we’re not talking about me and my hubby. Last night we were talking about Ghost Festival. It’s a Chinese belief that around July or August the hell gate is opened so all the ghosts will wondering around. Usually parents won’t let their small kids to go out because they believe small kids can see the ghosts. Then to make the ghosts happy and not disturb the living, they will conduct shows for the ghosts so the ghosts will be entertained. In the show, a lot of of people come (I’m not sure about the ghosts…) and they will empty the front seats for the ghosts. They say whoever sit on the empty seat, something is going to happened to him or her (of course something bad).
Here comes the story…One of my hubby friend were watching a horror movie in a cinema during the Ghost Festival. The movie is about the empty front seats. He said he was so damn scared until he even didn’t dare to go to toilet to pass urine, didn’t dare to move even a small gesture, and his heart was beating very fast. The movie was a real horror but the most horror one was that he sat just behind the empty seats in the cinema…
(expecting a bloody story? hihihi…gotcha! hey but it’s pretty scary though, try it!)
